Born with free will,
in Christ a choice to make.
The inner battle constant,
the gift of Grace to take.
The walk not always easy,
a struggle on some days.
The daily interactions,
to fight against old ways.
The heart beats full of life,
His power lives within.
Giving so much strength,
His grace we must extend.
Each day growing stronger,
yet still so far to go.
So thankful for His mercy,
mistakes to make, He knows.
So sorry He must witness,
this dark and dying world.
The suffering He endured,
because He loved us so.
To share His love with others,
His efforts not in vain.
The power of forgiveness,
to take away the pain.
