Unworthy of Your Grace

As I sit in church today,
the  message fills my ears.
The broken vessel housed within,
holding back the tears.

Prayer requests are lifted up,
trivial my needs.
Other’s hurting so much more,
my guilty heart still bleeds.

Longing for the joy once felt,
that day Salvation came.
Wordly actions fill my thoughts,
I hang my head in shame.

Thank You for Your loving touch,
the evidence is clear.
So unworthy of Your grace,
still I feel You near.

Please help me Lord to do Your will,
and glorify Your name.
Let them see You in my heart,
to know Your love the same.
